Overall total is 290,602 (and we are still counting)

Our new website is now live, huge thanks to Mandy, Stephen, Daniel and Lisa for all their hard work! We are still working on updating some of the content but I do hope you like the look and feel of it.

Our latest “thank you” post, dated 15 September 2016 is now on the website. And we are still opening parcels every week so if you don’t see your name please look for it on the next monthly thank you post.

As you know I was in Lusaka for a few days earlier in the month, for those of you who follow on Facebook I hope you liked the updates and pictures. My thanks to Mission Direct for looking after me and making sure my days were as full as possible! These trips can be hard going (physically and emotionally) but it’s good for me as they validate what we are doing and why. Whilst in Lusaka we visited Chisomo, a drop in shelter for street kids, also 2 schools and 4 homes as well as the opening of the new building for Vision of Hope, an organisation which rescues girls from the streets and from difficult home situations. In the 6 years I’ve been doing this I’ve had many, many grateful people and organisations who receive our underwear but never have I had someone drop to their knees crying and unable to speak at the sight of a case load of pants. The lady is the founder and centre co-ordinator of Kumbayah school and she was just overcome with gratitude. Keep those pants coming!
