Bumper month for distribution, taking us to over 200,000 distributed!

9,210 pairs of pants and bras were picked up on Tuesday 11th October for Freedom from Fistula Foundation and Kenya Children’s Home. Pants and bras will be making their way to the ladies in Sierra Leone, Kenya, Madagascar and Malawi and pants for the boys and girls in KCH, Butterfly, Suswa and Mashimoni school in Kenya.

2,000 pairs of pants heading to The 500 miles Prosthetic and Orthotic Centre in Malawi thanks to Olivia Giles.

20,000 pairs of pants and 15,000 bras were delivered to the National Police Aid Convoy (NPAC) in Mansfield on Tuesday 17th October.  This will be split between Mwape, Zambia and Blantyre, Malawi.  Big thanks to Roy Smith for organising the delivery and to the very kind folks at NPAC for helping with the unloading.

And 75 pairs of girls pants heading to Ilamu House in South Africa thanks to C J Bowry.

Had to double check the numbers this month as not only did we hit the 300,000 collected but ALSO over 200,000 distributed.

We have been working hard at our sorting warehouse as evidenced by the figures.  The volunteers work hard to make sure your parcels are opened as quickly as possible so we can acknowledge on our website.  Our latest “thank you” post, dated 12 October 2016 is now on the website. And we are still opening parcels every week so if you don’t see your name please look for it on the next monthly thank you post.
