Congratulations to Sarah Steel, winner of the March lottery.
Thanks to all the volunteers that turned up on Saturday for our wee “thank you” get together. It was great so many of you could make it. I’m really grateful to them all, Smalls wouldn’t be where it is today without them. Thanks also to Linda McDonald for letting us invade her house and for the wonderful lunch she put on.
We’ve managed to get another 4814 pairs of pants out thanks to Mission Direct and the Nora Docherty Charitable Foundation. 2000 pairs of pants are on their way to Kumbayah School, Chaisa Compound, Lusaka. They will be carried there by Mission Direct volunteers that are heading to Zambia for 2 weeks to help build classrooms and a dining room at a rescue centre for girls. And thanks to Margaret Mary Cummings, Nora Docherty Charitable Foundation for organising the delivery of 2814 pairs of pants to the children of the Nora Docherty Primary School in Chiluzi, central Malawi.
Here’s a link to our latest thank you post, and we are still opening parcels every week so if you don’t see your name please look for it on the next monthly thank you post.
And finally, thanks for the monetary donations to Kathryn Curtis, Mrs J M Laing, St Katharine’s Church, Liz Buchholz, Rotary Club of Greenock, Ms A Macdonald, St Johns Guild, Crofton Parochial Church, CC & A Towner, Olivia Nyunt, Julie Pinnell, Mrs J L Howlett, N A Padgett & C E Talbot, Kirsty Appleby, Nikki DeNiese and for the 4 anonymous donations we found in parcels of underwear.
